Smart Technology, Smart Living with Taiwan Excellence
Taiwan Excellence Day was held last June 15 - 16, 2018 in SMX Aura Convention Center, introducing a new batch of innovative products to the Filipino community.
The event kicks off with a forum entitled “Smart Technology, Smart Living.” - with the aim to address the needs of the Filipinos, and for them to be met through the help of technology. At the same time, it is there way to promote Taiwan as the Asian economic powerhouse with a vibrant image, culture, brands, and industries to enhance awareness and business cooperation with Philippine consumers and partners.
I was lucky to get close enough to understand the purpose, function and advantage of a couple of products that they offer. From connectivity solutions for households, offices, businesses, transportation to personal care products.
Two of my favorites under personal care were the Non Contact Thermomemter - which can help moms and dads get the temperature of their infant and/or toddler who can't sit still and the Opro9 SmartDiaper that is connected to a mobile application and informs you if it's time for a diaper change without actually touching it!
The brand also wants to expand their market, and what better way than to be in touch with lifestyle?
Taiwan Excellence also offers products for traveling, biking, swimming, gaming and photography.
During the event, ASUS also launched their new ROG notebooks, premium notebook devices, and latest additions to their smartphone line - the Zenfone 5 and Max Pro (M1).
A few of the speakers who came to support the event were Mr. Alfred Wang - Director of Economic Division from TECO, Mr. Jopson Li - President Director of PT. Atop, Mr. Anvey Factor - Head of Marketing from ASUS Philippines and Ms. Mary Grace Martinez - Product Manager from Gigabyte.
Lucky attendees also won some of the items that were presented during the event.
